WOPI 2027: Workshop on Open Interfaces for 5G-Advanced / 6G Communications
A call for posters on open interfaces for next-generation wireless networks, inviting researchers, students and industry professionals to showcase work on O-RAN, RAN Intelligent Controllers, testbeds, 5G-Advanced and 6G technologies.

WOPI 2027, part of the COMSNETS 2027 Workshops, invites poster submissions under the theme “Realising O-RANs Open Interfaces: From Standards to Systems.” The workshop focuses on open interfaces and systems for 5G-Advanced and 6G communications. Researchers, students and industry professionals working on O-RAN, RAN Intelligent Controllers (RIC), testbeds, open interfaces and related wireless technologies are encouraged to submit their work. The poster submission deadline is 30 October 2026, acceptance notifications are scheduled for 15 November 2026, and the camera-ready paper deadline is 30 November 2026. The workshop will take place from 5 to 9 January 2027 at Chancery Pavilion, Bengaluru. Workshop co-chairs are Prof. Kiran Kuchi (IIT Hyderabad), Prof. Jyotsna Bapat (IIIT Bangalore) and Prof. Ajay Bakre (IIITB COMET Foundation).
