A national innovation challenge by the Ministry of Education inviting young changemakers to solve real-world problems. Participants are assessed on problem clarity, originality, demonstrated feasibility, cost, beneficiary impact and scalability.

About this event

The Seva First Innovation Challenge invites school students, students of Industrial Training Institutes and polytechnics, undergraduates, postgraduates and research scholars to develop solutions to real-world problems. The challenge is open to participants across Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and the Union Territories of Lakshadweep, Puducherry, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Solutions are evaluated using six common criteria: clarity and importance of the problem, originality of the approach, demonstrated feasibility through evidence, unit or delivery-cycle cost and who pays, beneficiary impact, and the ability to replicate or scale the solution efficiently.
