Animated Realities: Experimental Animation and Documentary Filmmaking

Nikki Schuster, the current BengaluREsidence artist at Science Gallery Bengaluru, presents a selection of her experimental animation shorts and discusses her methodological approach to integrating experimental techniques into documentary filmmaking. During her residency, she explored emerging models of food production, urban farming, and local perspectives on soil and sustainability in Bengaluru, sharing insights into her research process, fieldwork and ongoing visual experiments.
